Robin was born and raised in Shaker Hts., Ohio.  She graduated from Shaker Hts High School in 1978 and attended the  University of Toledo and Kent State University.  After college, Robin worked in various industries and in 1987 joined  Prudential Advisors. She has been a Financial Advisor for 32 years.

Married in 1983, Robin has three daughters, Anna, Rachel, and Sarah.  Life was hectic but fulfilling, as Robin enjoyed both her family and building a career. Her daughters are now creative and successful professionals leading colorful lives.

2014 was a difficult year for Robin.  After a divorce and by then an empty nester, Robin sought a creative outlet in which she could find peace and serenity.  She found this through painting.  Robin is now ready to reveal her works to the world.

In the last five years Robin’s artwork has included, among others, the technique of drippings. Robin has a strong desire to paint, so strong that at times she doesn’t make it to her studio and instead paints in her kitchen!  Driven by her passion for creativity and uniqueness she uses brush strokes, measured drips and emotion to help create her mixed media artwork.  It can take hours, days and even months before her painting is complete.

Robin is influenced by many artists including  Larry Poons, William de Kooning, Franz Kline, Robert Motherwell, Edvard de Munch, and Jean Dubuffet.  She is inspired by Grandma Anna Mary Robertson Moses, who began painting at age 78.  It’s never too late!  Robin currently studies with artist Joel Rube, who has encouraged Robin to pursue her passion and share her work with the world.
